488 Spider White with a Red interior

White with red interior is my personal favorite color combo on cars.

Don't do it. Your reservations are sound.

 

Depends on specifically where the red is and how much red. The right amount of red in the right interior areas is very hot. Too much red can be hard to swallow.

 

I specced out a spider for delivery next year and am planning white with red seats. I think it looks stunning as long as you don't do red carpets and red dash. Go for it. It looks great in the pictures and also saw one in person and it looked very nice.

 

Here is a White with red interior. Not so sure about the steering wheel for my taste but you get the idea.

A little too much red for my taste. I like the seats but not the carpet, and the wheel. I'd prefer a bit More contrast with black carpets and doors.

 

Yeah.....a little much red for me also but very possible to make it work imo.
I like the white on the seats.
Would not take this one either.

Like this black wheel better....makes a big difference.

That is what I was planning but without all the rest of the red. Carbon on the interior and red seats white stripe.

I've got tons of time so might change my mind but this is the current plan.

 

Don't take advice from anyone on here, unless they post a full length photo of themselves. This way you can determine if they are cool and artistic, or goofy nerds with a lot of money and no taste.

Do you have the configurator pictures of the interior as it would be good to see these before passing judgement..

I guess it depends on how much red is. In there...

My car turns up in a few weeks and is Rosso with Nero but has the lower dash and centre tunnel in Red and Red belts the rest is black with grey stitching..

I originally chose red with my silver exterior. The red is so bright in the Ferrari I went with blue sterling instead. I have red interior on my silver SLS and I really like it. My buddy has ready on his 488 interior and loves it. You really cant go wrong.

 

I have a silver SLS with red interior as well! Its a great combo!

 

I would have to see it. Too much red doesn't work for me.

 

The picture posted was just too much. Attached is a pdf of something more subtle with the red. I like this a lot. You cant do the entire interior in red- red carpets, red roof etc etc. But red seats work IMHO.

I also wasn't crazy about a red interior but my wife convinced me to order white with red and we love it. In the pictures you'll see that the top of the doors and behind the seats are also red mainly because the black leather that Ferrari uses catches the oils from our hands and it was very noticeable on our Cali T. We were constantly buffing it out. So we purposely ordered red on the door tops to avoid this problem and continued it onto the back wall.

We don't have much carbon aside form the steering wheel and tachometer but we loved the way it turned out.

What is the color of that interior? Rosso?

 

It's as simple as this - white/red is perfect for someone that wants white/red. If you don't like it than don't do it. You need to love it. No amount of advice on here can change that.
