Another one to make up your mind :) (Even if that's not a coupe but a spider)

There's quite a few Pistas w/o stripe back in this tread. There's even a dedicated thread that shouldn't be too far back either.

I've come to prefer without stripe, the stripe is overplayed to me. I see it as just an aesthetic gimmick that has purposely been tattooed in most people's minds, I prefer the pure body lines.

The Pista looks too mundane without the stripe. No different than a Scuderia or Speciale would. These are designed to be hardcore machines and stripes hold a symbiotic relationship with the car.

And this is precisely a perfect example of what Ferrari has tattooed in your mind. Need of stripes to be hardcore. Like they give extra horsepower.

Interestingly enough, it was like the forum was listening because shortly after I made my comment, the stripe-less Pista thread came back to life. I agree with you, The stripe has been stamped in everyone's brain and when you see the car without it, it doesn't even register what car it may be. It takes me a while to get used to it. I don't know, I may have been institutionalized. I can't see the the Pista being the Pista without the stripe.

I have a slightly different take on this. I think the CS, Scuderia and the Speciale look better without the stripe (especially when you see them in real life and compare side by side) but with the Pista due to the S-Duct the stripe plays a real visual role in enhancing how the shape of the car appears. So for me Pista is the first hardcore car where I like it more with the stripe on it and this based on seeing both a striped and stripe-less version in real life. Having said this, I do have a preference for a single solid stripe rather than a double or triple stripe that most cars have.

I am sucker for this combination. Bianco Italia with tricolore, all day long.

There was a Pista Spider that had that color/livery combination and white interior to. Never driven post delivery with only 60 kilometers. Canadian market version though...

I don't care what exotic you may bring and park next to this car. Pagani, Bugatti (which I do not like at all). With the exception of 918 and some classics/antiques, this combination on a Pista and an F12 TDF will win me every time.

NEVER have I ever seen such an array of colours , strips and combinations that the PISTA . I hope those with the really wild designs plan on keeping them. I would respray the green one and even then would have to be way low in price.
