488 Passenger display installation

Hi guys, I recently purchased a brand new passenger display unit from an authorised dealer to be retrofitted into my 2016 488 GTB. The unit was fitted by my authorised dealer and appropriate software was supplied to the dealer from Ferrari Italy so the car could be programmed. The passenger display however, does not work. Apparently my car is not compatible for the retrofit as it is missing the appropriate data cable. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Or know the exact data cable that is missing? (Presumably from the wiring loom as the cable is not part of the retrofit kit). Based in Australia. Any help would be really appreciated.
