    Hey guys,
I went through the manual and only saw one reference to this figure, when talking about fitting the spare. It said 100 nm. Is this the normal value needed for the regular wheels also? Thanks...

    It's 100nm or 74 ft/lb on a 458.

My 458 manual show 100 Nm but two Ferrari workshops told me 120 Nm
and that the 100 Nm in the manual is not correct.

    Can anybody confirm this?

According to the shop manual, it's also 74 Ft/Lbs.
I would love to hear why some mechanics are saying 88.5 Ft/Lbs and what they are basing it on. I wonder if Ferrari sent updates to the dealers, or if they decided on their own for some reason.

Might be time for Trump to order a change to metric

The owners manual indeed only mentions the spare wheel, and it's been the case for a long time (also for older models).
100 Nm seems low given the size of the lug (M14/1.5), for which typical values found on the web (FWIW) are 120-140 Nm.
    I personally use 110 Nm.

My Ferrari tech also told me years ago that they dont do 74 lbs, they always go to100. He said 74 is too low.

74 ftlbs seems low to me as well. For comparison on my other cars: Audi Q7 120 ftlb, tesla is 129 ftlb, C8 corvette 140 ftlb, and a GT3 443 ftlbs!

I assume the GT3 has centre-locks so not really a fair comparison.
