Hi all, new here. Just recently purchased a 2019 488 GTB and loving it a ton! I stumbled across the video below and was wonder if anyone knows what the exact exhaust system they install is? Looking for the same since I think it sounds the best. Thank you!

Do you know if your car has the valves pinned ? If not I would do this or get a controller if you wish before changing the exhaust system. Pinned valves makes beautiful music.
Hey I am not even sure what the means? Is it if the dealer just unplugs the valves and I get a controller than can leave the valves either on or off? Do you have any videos which show stock exhaust with valves unplugged? Thank you!
Your 2 options a re Unplug the valves. Most dealers will do this. Actually whilst still waiting the arrival of my new 488 GTB the dealer asked me if I wanted the valves un plugged. With this the exhaust has a straight line out without going through the muffler. Please not if left stock the valves still open up around 2500 - 3000 rpm depending on your maritino setting. This is the cheapest way unless the dealer wants to charge you . They didnt charge me as they know its an attraction for the Ferrari. The next option is to install a controller. There are a couple around. This gives you the option of control. It has been pointed out the permanent open position can have an affect on the take off but In 4 years I havent noticed any issue. The car is bloody fast. The 488 GTB has a GREAT sound , take advantage of it. People will hear you before they see you .
Just unplug the hose at the 2 valves and plug them with a golf tee and zip tie around the hose-tee and zip tie them up out of the way. The 488 will now sound better under 2800ish rpm but still not loud and zero drone on the highway

No I dont and really you never get the real sound in the recording. Best to show up at a meet and I'm sure there will be someone who has their valves pinned open. I'm positive to state that 99.999 % of 488 owners have either pinned open the valves or have a controller. Reason because its sounds even better. It has no droning sound on the freeway that can be a PITA.
I did try get my dealer to open the valves but they said they can't while the warranty is still on. Next month the warranty ends but it seems they wont let me renew it if they open the valves?
Just points out the ridiculous. My Dealer asked me if i wanted the valves pinned. I said yes. Also last year I added 2 extra years of FULL FACTORY warrantee. Go to another dealer.
