I have a 2010 Ferrari 458. My right rear shock is blown and initially when I first start the car (and even after it has warmed up) it will not let me go over 3500rpm. The only way I’ve found to fix this, is if I pull over and restart the car. It allows me to get over 3500rpm then. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m wondering if it may have something to do with the shock being blown? I’m getting it repaired this week but I wanted to have a heads up of what it may be.

Sounds like car is in failsafe mode. See if you can read any OBD 2 codes
