Thank you both, kindly. Sorry to deliver the bad news, Joe but if you keep your car long enough, you will.
How on earth can such a new car need this ? I dont get it; i got 20 year old mercedes not needing that; whats the reason ferraria need this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dave you speak in absolutes that all of these coatings will eventually fail....accepting that as a fact, is there anything a new owner can do to maximize the time frame before the failure?
Hi John, I speak in absolutes based on experience. We have also experienced that in some models, different parts fail at different rates based on the sub contractor and the coatings they use. Typical, OEM's approve more that one coating manufacture and some hold up better than others. It seems that the hot / humid climates are hit the hardest but still, time is the most common factor. Certainly some cleaning products likely play a role. My suggestion is to stay away from those containing alcohol.
one question if i have another car that needs some switches updated back to new can you handle that as well?
Hi Mike, We do every model of Ferrari and Maserati as well as other makes / models. Please send me an email (not PM) to discuss - thank you. dave.lelonek@**********.com

Today we are installing our new, custom designed and manufactured grid plate for our laser. Sticky RX is 100% committed to continuous improvement This new grid plate will allow the use dedicated fixtures for each part (in process now) such that we can greatly reduce the setup time and potential errors within the laser process. We will continue to design and build fixtures to hold every single part for every make and model we refinish Oh, can anyone find the one tiny mistake on this plate? Image Unavailable, Please Login
For anyone missing a dial cap, we have reproduced those and sold several sets at this point https://store.**********.com/products/ferrari-458-ff-hvac-panel-replacement-dial-caps Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are a few refinished items that we had recently completed for a client in Hong Kong. Ironically, another HK client contacted us as we were finishing up this order and he needed a shop to do the R & R. The first client was kind enough to share the shop he used and that shop is now removed the second client's parts and they are on the way to us Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi to all ferrari chatters Please think about this problem. Why are the complete car is affected at the same Time? I know why. You are cleaning the complete car with plastic freshener.its shiny But kills the rubber finnisch of our Cars. I myself produce this sticky rubber on all of my ferrari 348 parts .so i know what it was. The sticky painting comes after 5 month in wintertime.i cleaned my car with amoral plastic cleaner and refresher.after nearly 5 month and First Drive after winter All parts sticking at the same Time. Please clean your Perfect Looking parts only with soft Towel and If necessary with warm water. Sticky RX can help you after you make the mistake. Best regards to all members
While some detailing products can accelerate the coating failure, the underlying issue is the chemistry of the coats. Brand new parts in boxes get sticky and those parts have never seen sun or detailing products.
