Hello, I am thinking to buy this 458 Speciale in white color, but i am worried if the car will retain its value and color will not be a problem to resell the car. White Speciale are rare in Europe (only 1 for sale) and 75% are Rosso Corsa with the Nart stripe.... Please let me know your comments on this combo and your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
I think white is a great color for the Speciale. the car you are looking at is awesome. Buy it, drive it.
i am obviously partial to white, I am currently waiting for the 458SA I ordered. I aso specified the gold wheels and think it looks great. I believe there are so many red examples that a more unusual car may eventually be worth more, but does that really matter? If you like it buy it, and quickly, before someone else does. I am partial to white as well. Not sure about the gold wheels and the yellow seat inserts. Gold wheels on some cars look very good. It needs to grow on me here.
I think its a beautifully spec white 458 Speciale. The yellow calipers, mesh, and stitching match very well. Also a great thing is that it has the racing stripe. That will help the resale value in the future. These day there are so many buyers out there you don't have to worry about resell value if its not Rosso. Just stay within white, black, silver, and blue. Historically yellow Ferrari's have been harder to sell. Trust me, my 458 Italia was triple yellow paint and it sat for a while in the showroom. Only thing I might add would be a yellow outline on the black racing stripe. Other than that go for it! Buy it and enjoy it.
I get compliments all the time on my White Speciale! Its probably one of the best colors on this car! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've never bought a red Ferrari and probably never will unless it's an interesting classic. The white looks great - I'm not gold wheel fan but they have a big following. The only advice I can give is buy the car you want and if depreciation is a huge concern, keep the money in a more conservative investment.
Looks nice, but I'm not crazy about the yellow seats or the gold wheels with the white/black stripe. I'm sure it will hold it's value well given how highly regarded and relative scarcity of the speciale. If you like it, buy it.
Hello all, big thanks for your feedback ! I have to say i was not expected such quantity of positive comments, it seems all of you like the combo except wheels that can be easily repainted. But i love those golden wheels I have to say white Speciale are very rare, therefore i believe they will hold value pretty well. I also have a 599 GTO in Rosso Corsa and i don't wish to have another red car. But in Europe over 90% of buyers wish to buy a red ferrari... Anyway i will probably go for it. I forgot to add the list of options : AFS1 : AFS System CALY : Yellow Brake calipers CEL2 : Engine cover in carbon fibre CHPP : Front bumper protection film EMPH : Horse stitched on headrest Yellow 00113 LOGO : Scuderia Ferrari shields NAVC : Radionavi system + bluetooth PNT7 : Racing stripe RCGI : 20" forged gold rims ROL4 : Legal roll bar RPMY : Yellow rev. counter RSCH : Carbon fiber racing seats SND2 : Integrated audio system STC1 : Coloured standard stitching Yellow 00113 T3D1 : Interior 3D fabric color Giallo 4HAR : 4 points safety harness Thanks again, please feel free to post some other comments
If you are from the Czech Republic, AR Cars in Ostrava has a white Speciale in their showroom right now.
My opinion on colours for a Ferrari... This is only my opinion. I have a red 348 which I have had since.... 2006. Never sell it. Always thought every Ferrari should be red. Then I got a yellow Scuderia because it was a great deal, but in the end ..... I was lucky, I didn't realise how rare this car was. After a while you look around and "everyone" has a red Ferrari....... But a different colour is special. I made the mistake and sold my yellow Scuderia. Then I wanted it back. I asked if he would sell it back to me, even with 20% more. Wouldn't sell it. Then I looked on the market and there are so many red Ferrari's for sale, sure everyone wants red. But when you have a buyer like myself and there are others of us out there, we pay premiums for something different. If you want white. Go for it.
Go for the white one! You've already got a collectable Rosso car, this will make the garage more interesting. I just took delivery of my TDF Speciale, it's my first ever Ferrari and I like that it's not red, everyone expects you to get a red Ferrari. Dare to be different. Also I like that blue doesn't stand out when driving down the road, white would also be discrete. Typically I don't like white cars, too German and clinical - but I do think it suits the 458 and even more so the Speciale. Strangely I like yellow on the Speciale as well. My in order preference was TDF blue, red of some sort, grey/silver, white, yellow. Nothing else made it to the short list for me. I think all of the above works really well on the Speciale. In fact, to prove the point just have a look at the background of my photo below! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd take that Bianco car over any RC any day, it's gorgeous. Don't like RC on the 458 and don't like the Blu /Bianco NART. Later on, the right buyer might pay more for a rare spec. Remember that while RC/NART might be popular, buyers will also have many more used cars to choose from. This could drive prices down, compared to a uniquely specced car. Just my o2
When I park this next to a red one the red one kinda vanishes.. Gold wheels rock! I would be more worried about the yellow interior myself, but having not seen one in the flesh... I am sure you will love it... Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is an amazing car, congratulations. Will try to join the Bianco Speciale club very soon, depends on general condition of the car .
