So 1518 kg without the driver and the passanger.
It is becoming interesting about the Speciales actual weight.
I had never believed the so called 90 kg difference between the italia and Speciale. The thing is since 2011, italia itself lightened by 15 kg because of thinner body panels thanks to Challenge cars.

I had put my MY13 italia which is optioned with racing seats, alcantara pack., carbon driving zone + tunnel, standart rims, no navi, no lift, no afs, no front parking sensors, no JBL. It weighted 1470 kg with 5-6 litres of fuel. In a few week I'll put on digital scale to have exact weight with full tank.

I expect real world weight differences between my car and speciale is no more 40 kg which is less than what Ferrari has claimed officially.

holysh*t! even if you take those out of the equation that's still 3347 lbs...

    what a pig!

Am I not getting the numbers right? advertised curb weight is 1395kg / 3075 lbs...where is the extra 269 lbs from? And if you facter the driver + passenger weights back in thats 600ish lbs overweight!!!!!!

Wiki shows the kerb weight at 1395 (which includes 75 kg for a driver), so backing that out as I assume the car on the lift did not have a driver, 1668-1320=348kg = 767lbs!

Does not seem right although I had a similar discrepancy with my Stradale.

269lbs by my calculations, as compared to the advertised curb weight of 3075lbs... still a lot!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but kerb weight is measured with 50% fuel, not 75% right?

So shouldn't the numbers be like this?

Car in question with no fuel and passengers should be around 1464 kg. according to this weighting. So kerb here with 50% fuel should be around 1574.5 kg. including 75 kg of passenger and 35.5 kg of fuel. That's a difference of 396 lbs. If you go by kerb measured with 75% fuel in the tank, kerb on this car is 1592.5 kg. with 75 kg pass, and 53.5 kg of fuel which creates a difference of 435 lbs. I used a mass of 830 g/l for fuel and a tank capacity of 86 liter btw.

There is some confusion about weights.Speciale has to weight 1395 kg with all fluids but not fuel..passengers and optionals.Mine weights as I have shown in the past, 1433 kg (38 kg heavier than declared) including all optionals and fluids but not fuel. This is not a pig at all in my opinion. But I agree, she is heavier than declared.

Given all these, the Speciale seems to weigh what Ferrari claims.

The audio upgrade, suspension lift, and spare tire add some weight for sure, but not 269 pounds.
