Anyone replace their interior dome light? Can you explain if it is a Do it yourself project I’ve got a spider. Also any suggestions for an led bulb option?

I’m sorry to admit that I tried this for that reason. Didn’t make any noticeable difference and landed up putting a new battery in and the issues resolved. Still have the TunerDomes in though.
Be extremely careful there are some really small plastic hooks that are easily damaged when reassembling
I don’t see how the first step of removing the small black plastic sub cover is raved Perhaps that is page 1/3 Thanks,
Where can I order a bulb? What size or type of bulb will work? Is it something generic I can get off Amazon?
Just replaced all 3 bulbs with leds in this unit. Much brighter no problems. Just remember the three screws holding panel up. Don’t try to pry it off until screws are removed. Then it will drop down and you can access the bulbs from the backside. Middle panel off first then 3 screws and underneath that. The small hooks are on the legs of the middle panel. Pry middle panel off at the sides of the airbag switch end this will reveal the 3 3mm hex drive screws. The bulbs are replaced from the back of the unit by twisting the base plugs and removing them. Put LED in base plug reinsert twist bayonet lock and reinstall base unit. I did all of the above with the same lightbulbs and oddly enough there’s enough voltage in the system that the lights are dimly lit all the time exceptionally bright when you turn them on, but they never turn off 100% love Ferrari and their electronics with parasitic leak
It's been eight years since ONE of the LED lights was irritatingly flashing, on and off constantly. I took it apart to discover the 700 dollar price on the stupid thing, and just yanked the offending light out. and have NEVER missed it. I think the bulb just plugged in. Maybe I should buy the bulbs referenced above, and try it out. Gotta love Ferrari Chat. My car was only a few years old, when the bulb went south.
