81096000 for the F430. Maybe someone else can confirm if the 360 is compatible (I don't see it listed for the 360).

It's worth checking the rest of the roof as this is often a symptom of uneven pressure on one side. It could be a weak ram on one side for example, or slight misalignment.

Would it take a backing plate behind it with epoxy on it, then clamp it with dome head allen screws ?

That only snaps because of bad roof elastics not pulling back the central bar. The operator continues to operate the roof knowing something is wrong yet refuses to stop and investigate the issue. These parts are available. Owner operator failed = big buck repair..but it's always somebody else's fault..

Happened to me twice…once after elastics were replaced. Bad rams…uneven. Had mine welded for $30. No trouble over the last 3 years.

Happened to my 360 before I changed the elastics. I used epoxy mixed with 1/2" glass fibers. Coated both sides and carefully smoothed. That was three years ago and no problems since. Forget replacing. Part is unavailable and any in the junk yard are probably broken. It's a hard part to remove too.

Yup. Old worn out elastic was the culprit.

Having it welded up and will reinstall.

The new replacement was $1,200. Weld is $158. No brainer.

    Thanks for all who shared.
