As some of you know, I've been looking for a F-car. I've decided to get a F430 Scuderia 16M! The only problem now is getting one in the spec that I prefer. I've been looking all over the internet, as well as asking some friends if they knew of anyone selling theirs, and all didn't have the one thing I wanted! Factory Installed Gold Forged Wheels (I'll call it GFW)!!! I've searched many many MANY, 430 Scuderia 16M listings, and only 1 of the many listings had the GFW! Am I just looking at the wrong places, or is it rare in 16m's.

    Thanks in advance

Why not find a 16m you like and then buy/paint the wheels later? Seems like you will be enjoying the 16M much sooner that way!

BTW.. I think I just saw a new set of 16m wheels with tires on ebay for 10k. They are black but can be painted easily. That way you can keep the originals.

There are maybe 150 16M in total in the States so given all the different options there's quite a good chance that not more than one car has the wheels you seek...or maybe its just an excuse NOT to buy a 16M !!

Get the car and then get the wheels painted.
The brake callipers run so close to the wheels on the 16M forged wheels that they will probably benefit from a repaint anyway (small stones get trapped and score the paint) - I've had mine done recently to keep everything perfect.

PS Car is called a 'Scuderia Spider 16M', not an F430 or a 430. :)
    'F430 Spider/Coupe'
    '430 Scuderia'

When I bought my Scud in 2008 there was only 1 with gold wheels
I bought a track set of Scud wheels for the track - I'll sell them to you below what I paid($4,200 whole sale) get them cleaned up and painted and would be like new

Thanks for the correction Russell. I've found one 16m with GFW, that's owned by a friend who might sell, as well as another one located in Malaysia RHD unfortunately... my friends 16M has over 35k miles on it, so I'm a bit worried how it will hold its value (I don't like losing money...) but what most of everyone said makes more sense than my original idea of finding a Scud spider 16M with original GFW.

High mileage does decrease value, but it's more a matter of how many miles you'll put on the car as you should be able to buy a higher mileage car at a discounted price.
