430 F1 actuator plastic cover seeping

    I have an 07 F430 that has fluid very slowly seeping from the black plastic cover on the actuator. I can remove the cover, and clean the small gasket, and get it to stop for awhile, but it will come back. I haven't found a place that I can order just the black plastic cover. Anyone have any ideas? Is this a bigger problem I should look into? I don't have any issue with pressure build up, or pump run times, or shifting. Its not even enough that I, or the previous owner has had to worry about fluid levels.

    Those are not supplied separately. I'd check with the guys who repair them They might have one from a core.
    But...do not be surprised if they say no. Those getting broken is not unusual so there may be a shortage.

    Is it normal for there to be fluid behind that cover?

    No....it’s a dust cover.
    There may be a slight weep past one of the high pressure seals and unless there is a lot leaking I’d leave well alone.
    Sealing it is pointless.
