My favorite place has shut down and now I need to find a new place that does very good 4-corner balancing and wheel alignment.

Any recommendations for someone in the San Jose area?

Now that the car is lowered and running 295's in the rear I am very cross legged...:)

    Thanks,

    Kai

I took my newly restored suspension on my 308 to Custom Alignment and am very happy not only with the alignment but with the fact that they took good care of newly finished parts and did not mark or scratch them. I would definitely go there again. And they came recommended by an Alfa friend who has used them for a long time with the same results. It will cost 2x what Wheels Works charges and be worth every penny and more to not have those monkeys touch your beloved car.

    Thanks guys.

I'd never take the 348 to wheel works or any of those other chain businesses.

Not actually in San Jose, but I understand competent corner weighting can be had at Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley, about 35 miles to the north. I don't know of a place in SJ currently.

edit -- Does Borelli at Club Auto Sport do corner weighting? I would think they must. They are in SJ.
edit2 -- I think Dietsch Werks (also in Club Auto Sport complex) also do corner weighting. I have been a customer of Roger Kraus and Dietsch Werks, and went away happy from each. Never been a customer of Borelli yet.

Try Bruces tires in san Jose or Rodger Krause in Castro Valley

I can recommend Dave at Borelli Motorsports with highest regard. He did my F355 and it is awesome. I went through how the car handled at Infineon corner by corner before he did any adjustment to understand what it was doing and what I personally wanted as a driver. He hit it spot on. Simply awesome. For those of you that have been out on drives with me, you know how well my car handles and I have to give Dave credit for his part. Alignment, corner weighting, etc is his stick. He is simply the best. Period.

I got some tires from Roger Krause for my 328. After a short drive from their shop, half the wheel weights fell off. If a shop struggles with the basics, be cautious with more detailed work.
