    The R8C and Speed 8 I can sort of see, at least they are both modern race cars within the VW Group. With that being said, so is Bugatti..I guess all history is lost with the Veyron eh? Shame..

    A Lamborghini VT chassis + W16 engine + new bodywork = Bentley Hunaudieres.

    Bentley Hunaudieres evolved into the Veyron.

    Again, all brands within the VW portfolio, but it does make you scratch your head.

    True. One has to wonder though at what point does it become too much? At what point does cross-platform development dilute certain brands thereby lowering demand (and subsequently profits)?

    I think it looks more like a big fat toad!

    That said, I like the car in certain colors and it must be a blast storming around in the worlds fastest car.....if you live in Germany or Nevada!

    I'd like to have the money to buy one so that I could score a test drive. Then I'd go buy something else. :D

    Regardless of it's lack of beauty, you have to have some respect for it's performance capabilities. Even I can appreciate it for that.
