Had such a great time! Was so nice to meet some more of the f-chatters. Thanks to everyone who pulled this together. Can't wait until next year. Another added bonus... now I have an excuse to give Bridget (my Exige) a bath tomorrow morning!

WOW, what a day!!! Thanks to all who made this day a success. I came home and took a well needed nap. Woke up and saw that people were already posting. We are truely a bunch of car addicts. Like Eric said "great to put faces to the names".

Congratulations to all of you for your extreme effort in completing this route. I hope you all keep the route and share it with some friends on another date. It really is one of the best routes I have ever had the pleasure of driving. Your likely to see Bob, Josh and I on the road along the way!!!
Thanks for your recognition of the contributors to this event. It takes a team to put this together and our team Johnny Dents for tee's and stickers,Bob,Josh, John and Barbara, Jerry for the awards, Scott and Judy in the kitchen,Amy my wife at the grill,Scott and Dan manning the check point at the tours end and helping set up, Mark and again John in helping on the clean up Judy C. and Louanne for the printing. I really thought I could do more myself....lesson learned!!!!
Congrats to Fchat members Curtis and his wife( second year participant),Jason and his wife ( second year participant) for placing 2ncd and third in the Rally question contest. Nick D ( third year participant) 1st place for the Peoples Choice award and Eric348 for a tie breaking second place. I had a lot of fun throwing this event and look forward to seeing you all again and again at future events. Jon in Delaware

I'm considering it to be first place in the Ferrari division!! :)

Here's a pic from the starting line with my navigator, Tom. This was his first ride in a Ferrari, and it was a good one.

Half-way through the route, we had a chance to stop, stretch our legs, and use the "lavatrees". However, there was absolutely no sharing of clue answers. ;)

This is tough. I saw some other pics of Bob's with the Amish Enzo Jebadiah Turbo Buggy with the sports cars in contrast. His 308 next the that bad A$$ machine was wild.

Also I got a kick out of Alex's pic of the young Ferrari enthusiast-what a trooper- I think he had two maybe more fluid changes- thank goodness not at Ferrai rates.

Ok next week - we do it again.

    Thanks

What worrying is who was he driving behind to get such an oily hand !!

Joshua - I see the teaser on youtube ..... okay so we saw he camera's and thought we'd do a drive by as opposed to a turn left !!

Dave, It was great having you and Denise along. You guys should join us more often. Always looking for someone that wants to go for a ride. Very nice pictures. I'm quite partial to that first one in particular. LOL. Bob

    Great pics everyone!

FWIW, I don't know how I got credited for the pic, but I think the little boy shot was actually Bob's.

    Jon,

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It was a Great Event. The format this year was fantastic. Kudos to you and your entire team of volunteers for putting this on once again. Bob and Josh the pics so far are phenomenal - I especially like the overheads from the railroad bridge, a unique perspective. I look forward to the final video production. Johnny Dents - thanks once again for stepping up and sponsoring the T-shirts and Rally stickers. I need to get another car or two lined up for you here in the Baltimore area and have you come down and work you magic on the TR. The route, ditrections, and maps provided made for a pretty easy time of things and sealed the deal on the event - Many thanks to all involved in getting it mapped out and putting the packets together.

The awards were a nice touch and Jerry (I think) deserves a big thank you for putting up the swag. And last but most certainly not least thanks to all that helped at the finishing point to put the food out welcome us all in. Thank you, thank you thank you!!! Jon - I hope that the next time you bring Amy along for an event she won't be chained to the grill! Although, the Chicken was excellent. I very much look forward to next year.

    Curtis

PS - the only problem occurred with my navigator after the rally, Bob led us over to the creamery only to find that it was their craft fair day and probably 75-100 people in line for ice cream. Quick thinking on my part part averted a complete catastrophy - Marianna Mall, Macys, and tax free shopping!
