Hi all, I open this thread to share the racing and techinical history of the 375 Plus cars that is not clearly known which one is which. This thread is ONLY for the racing histories, tech details, and comparing photos and race results. Please keep personal issues off my thread so the flow of 375 Plus information can be affirmed with true lovers of this model. I ll attach a photo when I did found out here how this works...
Ok thanks guys, I am not much familar with this forums- its so many possiblity to add a post.. So you think I should re- post it to there again?? Any idea how i can add a photo??
Here are the five 375 Plus : 0384AM PF job 12566 0392AM PF job 12567 0398AM PF job 12570 0400AM PF job 12571 0396AM PF job 12572 You may notice there is no PF job number for 0386/AM, so...
Good idea, so much confusion over the 4 existing cars and the detail differences. Much needs clarification on when and why the cars had changes. http://www.bonhams.com/video/15588/

That just shows that Pinin Farina didn't built a car with s/n 0386... Now, you can make many theories on what really was s/n 0386 : - just a "ghost" serial number used on the five existing 375 Plus, - a real car built by another coachbuilder, - a spare engine... I don't know...
I understand since 1980 the engine existed, in pieces, and then in 1993 0386AM emerges as a car in the hands of Bernardo Faveroas with a Jolly body on a chassis built in Pisa in 1991. Those are the only contemporary mentions of the number 0386AM car after the May 1954 accident at Peschiera. Hence, there are three genuine cars, not four , with 0400AM destroyed also.
I think there is no proof that 0386AM was the car crashed at the 1954 Mille Miglia. As 0400/AM was destroyed, it would be logical to say it was this car instead of 0386/AM...
I have a copy of the Andrew Frankel article in this issue pages 40-45 He refers to a picture of the test car as "...375 Plus sits at rest outside the house of Contessa Maggi ....." No where does Frankel refer to an sn for this car. Any idea which 375 Plus this is? tongascrew
I have pix of 0392AM, in resto and as finished (1985 and 1986) but for some reason can't upload. My computer "expert" has no idea why, as I have posted many pix here in the past with no problem. Any computer wise guys out there with suggestions?
check the file extensions, Ed. Maybe just rename them and change the extensions, then change them back. Sometimes that fixes this sort of thing.
I rely on my 23 year old step grandson who has helped me out many times. When he can't solve the problem he just says "the computer doesn't like you today, try again tomorrow" Some times he's right. tongascrew
OK, L. Wayne, I'll try that. I just posted a pic to the 275GTB thread, no problem. I seem to have trouble with the older cars, which makes no sense as they were all put into my computer (by Jarrett R.) at the same time.

Looks similar to what the shed looked like when I visited there and my understanding is they did restore this car (many years earlier) I assume they made a new body? Pete
