unless you are clairvoyant or are privy to the financial details of the settlement, you are not any more informed than anyone else... which should be nil...
If Francism is in the legal profession in the UK, he doesn't need clairvoyance to have a good estimate of the legal costs incurred in London by the parties these past two years.
I'm not in the legal profession but I have attended much of the London court hearings and have kept my ear to the ground. Although the settlement agreements don't allow any disclosure, and that has so far been adhered to, one does pick up bits and pieces here and there in passing. So yes, I do count myself as more informed than Cheesey.
Ray, now that the dispute has been settled, may I ask if are you happy with the result and are confident that your family will receive your just recompense ? Under the terms of the original HOA the OC would have received 50% of the proceeds which equated to $9m USD (based on $18m achieved by Bonhams) and a payment to your wife of $2.7m (assuming Joe honoured his publicly declared and Court ordered obligation to give your wife 30%). You are no doubt aware that the Arbitration Authority concluded that Ford acted as Gardner's attorney and awarded him only 50% of the OC proceeds with the added sting that this would also cover any payment to your wife. Consequently, by my calculation, Joe will end up with significantly less than your $2.7m if he honours his agreement to you. To elaborate and assuming the OC end up getting what was originally negotiated i.e. $9m, then by my reckoning Joe will get $4.5m out of which he has to pay $2.7m to your wife, $900k to Dave 10% Clark and $467k to Gardner under the Arbitration leaving Joe with less than $500k to sort out the likes of Tim Smiths profit share, the Charles Morse deal, legal fees and any other side deals he's done. I have never understood why you chose litigation rather than just take the $2.7m but I fear there will be a lot more to come before you see your money.
Three months ago. I'm surprised Ocean Joe has managed to remain so quiet in the aftermath. Perhaps the gag order was a physical one this time? >8^) ER
Contempt of Court has teeth in it....I sent all MY support checks in. I would have been driving an F40, had that not occurred....
His one and only post number 1173 was on the 5th July 2014, one week after the Bonhams sale. Coincidentially, at that time Ford was subject to a gagging order and had not posted for over ten months but then pops up on the 9th July 2014 to congratulate Phatboy on his “great first post” What odds are you giving on Phatboy ever responding ? I will offer you better odds on his wife ever seeing $2.7m USD
Hello Mr. Kim, The mystery buyer has been identified in a Ferrari Market Letter document. The in-house notes from Gerald Roush wrote about the alleged stolen 375 Plus. Note: The carcass was sitting in the junk yard with a tree growing thru the engine bay therefore the straw purchase was not concluded. It turned out to be a scam. That document is located on page #198 at post #3955 dated 4/9/2016.
Karl Kleve's old car arrived back on American soil yesterday by way of an AirFrance Cargo B777 through Chicago O'Hare. Welcome home 384AM - hope you live a peaceful life from here on out. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
All the known original parts of the car are now in Les Wexner's ownership. Presumably they have all been shipped to him along with the car.
Better photos of 0384AM's arrival. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
