Sounds a lot of money to me. There was one in Coys Padova auction in October (before the recession really hit) unsold at it's estimate of 28-33000 Euros. '' Described as in good overall original condition throughout, with an excellent engine, a result of a revision of the car's mechanical components carried out in 2005, this majestic Ferrari, with only two owners from new, is a very interesting and attractively priced proposition. '' I would expect to pay about £15-20,000 in UK right now = $22-29,000
I'm pretty sure that mine will only end up on the market after I am long gone, but it is nice to see that the ones that do show up seem to be clean cars, not ratty basket cases that everyone thinks they are.
Someone on this thread said crude was rising steadily to $150/barrel; HMMMM just dropped below $44/barrel. How are high end newer Ferrari prices holding up? I sat at a luncheon with an F360 owner that worked for Lehman Bros. the day before the luncheon and the day after their failure was announced. I expect there will be many of these cars up for sale in the NY and London area. Ken
Dropping. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=222499 Haven't seen an impact one way or another on these cars, yet.
Hello I do not know if this is the right plase to annunce it as i am new to the forum. I am putting my lovley 365 GT4 2+2 up for sale after 9 wonderful years because i have reesentlig bought a 1996 456GT. My car is identical to the one Autosalon-Singen is offering exsept mine has orange carpets. The car has an "certeficata originale" after a vissite to the factory late summer 2005 that states that the car is original and all maching numbers. But it also states that it has had a new paint job and interrior collor at some point. Original it was silver with tobacco interrior and orange carpets!. But that must have bin a real engine out job as it is impossible to see anny evidence of the originale paint etc. Am I realistic im my hopes to get euro 37.500? best regards Paul
Paul, Congratulations on the 456 and best of luck on selling the 365. i'd love to hear your thoughts about how the 365 compares to the 456... i'd love a chance to offer an opinion on your 365...how about some more info and some pictures ?
Tank you I have enjoyed the 365 for 9 years now with my family and I have driven some 62 000 km sins 2003 when I got the car licensed in Norway. Even thou I bought the car in the vintner of 1999 with 50000km, do too tax reasons on cars in Norway I would not register the car before is 30 birthday in 2003. Now the car has 112000km on the odometer Main reason for the change is safety and comfort. I use the car every summer to take my Family down to the French Riviera and Italy and on as many Ferrari Club events In Europe as I Can . I have also loved and dreamed of the 456gt ever sins it was introduced back in 92 Best regards Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Paul, thanks for posting the pictures. You have a beautiful car in an excellent color! This is just my opinion but I think you should keep your 365 and get the the other car too.
that is the 'other' colour Jim...i believe that is Blu Ferrari 20 A-185. i'd love to see you go with this or Silver...but i admit that Silver is my choice. your car is here now. Paul, thanks for posting the pics. if your runs as good as it looks then i would hold out for your asking price... or very near it. i said a while back that i expected the current financial crisis to actually help the value of the 365GT4/400/400i...and here is why: -while the amount of people that yearn for a front engined V-12 has not changed, the amount of people who will drop $100K plus has... -the real world practicality of this model where your wife and family are concerned make it way easier to justify...for those who need to. -for those inclined to do so, routine services are easy to do (plugs, filters, fluids) and parts are still easily available new... and used, when needed. you really only need to see one roaring down the road once to 'get it'...this series will have it's day, i'm more sure of it now than i ever was.
I am acually preparing a story about going from the 1973 365 gt4 to the relativ modern 456 gt. I bought my 456 in Jun of 2008 and after 1 week of ownership we left for summer hollyday in France and Italy. This was the usual 5 week roundtrip of about 7500km that the 365 gt4 had done for years...... Some other picturs of my wonderful "life" with the 365 gt4 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
