Time to update the price guides? http://www.maranello.nl/collections.php?carType=Ferrari&carID=246 That's $74k if you balance your checkbook in USD!
I couldn't get the pics to come up on the 365. They also have a true Series I 330...not an Interim...for 87.5K euro; @ 1 euro = U.S. $1.49, that's U.S. $137,375.00! Nice looking car, but whoah.
well it's about fu(k'in time...and it is definetly happening. i've scooped up a couple of 400's recently and just missed Peter Sweeneys silver 400gt last month, bummer. who got that ? he told me he could have sold 10 just like it. they are such outstanding cars and the series is the last V-12 under 100K...and by a large, large margin. nowhere to go but up...
The car pictured in the link is a 365 GTC4 NOT a 365 GT4 2+2 as described in the text of the ad. The C4 has a considerably higher value than the GT4 2+2.
No picture came up when I looked at it the first time, but they do have 3 C/4s in stock, the only one with a price listed is 95000!
Yeah, apparently the display function on their site is messed up as last night it was displaying all the photos of the black 365GTC4 with the text of the 365GT4 2+2. Today it displays only a brief shot of an interior and then goes blank. It seems that they actually do have a 365GT4 2+2 listed for 47,000 Euros, so the original point made by judge4re is well taken.
U.S. $74K won't buy much of a GTC/4; however, it could conceivably buy the best GTC/4 2+2 in existence.
I belive the orig. Poster was not trying make a point that the 365 GT4 2+2 was going to be the same or greater value than a 365 GTC4 I belive the point is that there is an example of rising asking prices on 365 GT4 2+2 which could be a sign that there is upward movement in these cars.
i think an outstanding example of a 365 gt4 2+2 is worth every penny of $75,000 US. in particular, i like Eric's factory twin rear lamp version.
Second data point, 49,900.00 ... http://www.autosalon-singen.de/verkauf-Ferrari-365-GT4-2-2-01344_0001_04_04.aspx?languageID=en&modell=365%20GT4%202+2&marke=Ferrari
That all is a bit interesting, but we have to see whether these cars actually sell at those prices. Asking prices mean nothing, when we start to see actual sale prices, then we will have some data points. John (1983 400i 5 speed for sale, special this week only, $85,000 drive it away!)

No kidding! Did you read the thread in the 308 section where a guy in the Netherlands had to pay over $10 a gallon this weekend?
The cost of a litre of 'Super' (basically 97 octane) gas in the UK has recently hit £1.359/litre which converts to approx $2.66/litre. A UK Gallon is 4.546 litres which converts to $12.08 per (UK) gallon !! A US Gallon is only 3.785 litres but this still converts to $10.05 per US gallon ! In parts of Europe and Scandinavia they're paying even more !! Fortunately here in South Africa its about half the UK price but with crude prices heading slowly, but ever-so-surely, toward $150/barrel the days of cheap gas, my friends, are long gone.
Does anyone know where I can get a side view mirror just like the one that is on this car? Thanks, Rick
Looks like a talbot mirror if you are referring to the blue car. Maybe E-bay or google talbot mirrors and see what gives. Rick
They are either a highly polished stainless-steel or chromed metal 'bullet mirror'...try this link for an idea if nothing else..: http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/shops/Rat_Sport/index.php?cat=Mirrors
Here's an Italian market one for 44k. http://cgi.ebay.it/FERRARI-365-GT4-BENZINA-1976-COL-BLU-MET-USATO-PISTOIA_W0QQitemZ350078179555QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350078179555&_trkparms=72%3A758%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318
thank you for the link to the Italian ebay site. I have found the original color for my car, and I like it a lot !!
Maranello.nl hardly sells any cars (in the past 6 months I saw about 6-10 cars marked as sold, howe they still exists with such a inventory I wonder..), and when they do, maybe for a llot less than they asked for it? I don`t know, but in my opinion market value is what prices are really payed for cars, not what one askes for it...
Another one in Italy, ask is 44k Euros. http://cgi.ebay.it/FERRARI-365-GT4-1973-2-2_W0QQitemZ140281771112QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobile_IT?hash=item140281771112&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A758%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1309
