Looks great inside and out! What did you do to the car in the 2.5 years? Or would it be easier to say what you didn't do?

    Aidan,

Well, a lot of things... The engine has been rebuild, clutch, interior+all the leather, new dash leather, replaced a lot of the wiring, suspension/bushings, shocks and levellers, front lenses, rubbers, door locks/handles, exhaust and lots of other small things.

It's a real pleasure to drive and enjoy it.

Jan- Looks very, very nice. That engine looks like it is really a tight fit. Must be fun lifting it out. Your leather is beautiful.

Is this the one that was at Forza in CT?

Good job! I really feel connected to your work. You bought it a year before I bought mine and we finished about the same time. Shared a lot of info and updates last 1.5 years! Cudo's to Brett too for helping Kliko, thumbs up!

Congratulations Jan...i admire you patience and dedication and 'she's' a beautiful addition to your collection.

    Yes Art,
that's the one that you test drove about 3 years ago...which i almost bought it myself...but i'm much happier that 'she' ended up with Jan.

i appreciate it Peter, but i couldn't possibly share any credit here...really, none at all...
but i'll be thrilled to help Jan overhaul his transmission...and now he can drive it up here so we cross that off the list also.

Well Brett, I think you do. Some of the hard to find parts came from your shop. Recognise those tail lights?

    Art,

Brett is right, this one was for sale at Forza motorsports. I bought the car in july 2008. It has been a nice project and time consuming....

    Jan,

I bet it is much more pleasing to drive now than when I drove it! Great job!

    Jan,

Nice but, considering the roads shown in the video (two gentle curves in 3.5 minutes), you could have kept the dead suspension/steering :D :D :D .

    Cheers!

that is funny Art because i know that you drove the car before Jan did the suspension...
but cut him some slack, he is holding the camera (and very well at that) as he drives that 5-speed !!!

    all the best,

    brettski
