Yea, I figured if I ever sold the car down the road people would be turned off by aftermarket wheels.

Id go for aftermarket personally, everyone has the stock wheels, just keep the OEM wheels with the car, that when time comes to sell, you can put it online on OEM wheels and sell your aftermarket wheels separately

I always prefer factory stock wheels. The way I see it, the company has teams of designers working for many months, perfecting the car design. This also includes how the wheels work with the design of the rest of the car. Conversely, aftermarket wheels are designed with no particular model in mind, therefore in my opinion, never have the right look for a specific model.

FINALLY someone else who has logic!..... I 100% AGREE and that goes for all the other aftermarket trash people put on Ferraris.... I mean WHY? "Let's remove Ferrari parts that have been engineered to work perfectly with the rest of the car and stick some joeblow machine shop stuff on there". Just weird.

Typical discussion that will have no winners, everyone is different, i love Ferrari in general, but their wheel designs, to me atleast, have always sucked, i cant think of many factory rims from ferrari that i like on their models... and same goes for many other carbrands. Other than that, its always nice to personalize cars abit, otherwise every F430 is the same car only with a different color, just my 2 cents :)

Interesting point of views on both sides. I felt my option two was a modest and classy design that flows with the car instead of buying a set of wheels trying to make my car look like a fake CS. At certain angles the CS wheels don’t flow right on a standard 360.

My wish is for 19" starfish, they would be perfect in my opinion. My car had 19" Challenge wheels when I got it, I sold them immediately, I just don't see what the aesthetic allure for a busy ass wheel is. Starfish are fine and fit in with the car's styling. If aftermarket, 5 spokes...any more is extra.

Factory wheels on any car are often designed for mass appeal and not to make a statement. I have to agree that most wheels on any OEM offering are somewhat boring. As for the 360, there are quite a few top quality wheels, many forged and 3 piece, that look much better to me than the starfish wheels--- which IMO look dated and as if they could have come stock on a new Toyota.

Wheels are easy to swap out and can really change the look of your 360. As far as your choice, I like both but the Challenge wheels always look good and unlike your choice of the aftermarket ones the Challenge wheels carry that little bit of color and authenticity with the center Ferrari cap.

Very well said the 1st part, and totally agree, they model them for everyone and not for a specific niche ofcorse.

As for aftermarket wheels, you can always try and fit the cneterhubcaps, and if not make an adaptor for the wheels so they do fit, to give it a little bit more OEM look

Good performance tires in 18” are hard to find or don’t exist anymore - consider a 19

Without the CS front bumper and side skirts I feel the CS wheels don’t look right at certain angles. I would do the 19”s if I bought a set. I never really saw a 5 spoke wheel I liked very much even the 430 wheels.

I agree with the last point, that the wheels often have to fit a multitude of car designs, and it's very easy to pick wrong. Sometimes, however, rim designers do design with particular models in mind.

On the first point of perfecting the design, I have to disagree a little. Yes, they are trying to get the look just right, but engineering in general is about balancing all the factors at play - cost, ability to manufacture, performance, durability, operating environment, industry standards, requirements of different countries, and so forth. They could go with a lighter and more expensive wheel, but the material may be less durable (magnesium is a good example here), and they know it's a road car that has to work across the world and could hit potholes, so they go a different route. If you live in an area where potholes aren't a problem, but you care about ultimate performance instead, I find it totally fair to adjust the selection to your particular set of criteria.

Aftermarket for me. Who doesn't like forged monoblocks. Built out of a chunk of coolness. No spacers no adapters and run a more modern short length bolt. Today's era modifying your car can go both ways. Some people get it and do it and put the work into it and some don't understand. And 18s won't clear CS brakes.
In the end it's your car do what you love and what makes you happy.
