Just wondering if you can keep the battery 360 charged using any type of cigarette lighter trickle charger... Or will this damage the electrical system? I tried to fit my Porsche Cigarette lighter battery charger into the center console lighter on my Ferrari and it doesnt fit in there anyway.

I think the use of the cigarette lighter is ideal for charging since you just unplug and go...

Does Ferrari make on? Aftermarket? Where can I buy ?

    Ideas/Suggestions much appreciated!

    Thanks

The cigarette lighter circuit is always hot on the 360. So, theoretically, the connection should work.

I believe someone had previously indicated that when he did that he heard a relay clicking! So, there is no guaranty it will work reliably.

Best to have a connection made at the point behind the driver's seat under the removable panel.

I found out that not all lighter plugs do work in the Ferrari holder for some reason! It is apparently not a standard unit.

Did you check to make sure it doesn't have a trickle charger on it already? I can't remember if it was standard or not, but we had the trickle charger on the car that simply had to be plugged in to keep the battery topped off. It would be down with the battery under the aluminum panel in the pass side floorboard. Good luck with whatever you do...

I believe the OEM charger is in the trunk?

    Anyone to conform this?

If it was supplied with the car it is in a leather case mounted on the front wall of the trunk (under the locking mechanism) and plugs into a specially fitted socket under the small removable panel where you top up the brake fluid and refill the A/C.......on the bulkead just forward of the windshield, on the drivers side.

Since my car didn't come with one, does anyone have one for sale?

    Thanks

You can get a generic one which will strap next to your battery. It'll have a standard electrical socket to be connected to an extension cord. Also, you can get a battery tender. It'll have a harness that can be connected to the battery with a small plug that you connect to the battery tender. IMO, there is no reason to spend extra money for an OEM one. A std battery tender is about $50-60 at most and will never fry your battery. I use it on bikes and cars for last 5 years.

We did a whole thread on this some 3-4 months ago. I think it was in the 360 section.

Interstate seems to be the better one at around $60.00. It is a tender.
