i have a snap-on bore scope and to me it looks like all I will need to do is remove the front oxygen sensor, insert the scope and look backwards. Sound right?

I guess that I will have to disconnect the wire/electric plug for the oxs prior to removal or the wires will get all twisted up.

Yes you will have to take the panel off and disconnect the lambda sensor before twisting it out.

Just got done. What I saw forward was just a metal mesh screen. Looked back and saw ?2 pipes coming together. So I am guessing the pre-cats sit behind that screen and then obviously cannot be seen through the front oxs hole.

Nice to know there is a screen there to prevent the larger cat fragments from being viciously sucked back into the motor as the sellers of replacement headers have suggested.

I should say, I looked back towards the rear of car and saw screen

At first I thought it was the cat. Same pattern but metal
