Can I be rude and ask what the hell you do for a living You have a beautiful collection Streetking. But two Vipers .... that's just plain greedy Chris (a very jealous admirer!)
SW - Superb collection - congratulations! I notice you said you restored your TransAm yourself, and that you lowered the 360 yourself too. Do you have a mechanical / restoration background, or have the skills been developed from years of tinkering? Once again, great collection, and very well captured!
ghost, I've been playing with cars for years, infact my first engine job was on my '76 Trans AM that I had in high school. I try to do as much as I can on my own cars. If you saw the '69 Pro-touring Camaro on my website, I'm doing everything on it myself, except for the paint. Thanks again, SW
Thanks for the update SW. Learning how to restore / fix a car is high on my list of things to do. Just got figure out how to carve some time out the schedule out of an insanely busy schedule and become an apprentice. -
Wow...now I have to say I think the LM's look great on the 360! I've seen them on the 550, but didn't think they would look this good on the Modena. SW, you have one beautiful collection and very good taste in machinery. I travel in and out of Austin quite frequently on biz so hopefully you can drop by the Four Seasons, grab a drink and talk cars one of these days. Looking forward to seeing more pics with your new wheels on the 360 (whatever they may be...).
Congrats on the 360, and you have a wonderful garage. I love those GTS Vipers, what do you have done to them? Anything?
Thanks, let me know when you are in town. Doug, both Vipers are modifed. The red one is a 510 stroker, high compression, runs on VP109,headers/exhaust, gears, carbon fiber air-box, makes 710rwh/700rwt, six point cage and runs [email protected]. I use it mainly for the track and sometimes for a "cruise night" The blue/white car has a Hennessey head/cam kit, headers/exhaust, gears, Stop Tech brakes, makes 584rwh/581rwt on 93oct fuel. It's more of a "driver". SW
SW, do you know who has your old 415" Lingenfelter ZR-1? I think it was a white one, fastest NA ZR-1 I think...right? That was a sweet ride as well.
Yes, I sold it to a good friend of mine. It's here in Austin. It was the fastest NA ZR1, 10.47@135.. SW
StreetKing- You have one of the coolest garages of all time. Thanks for taking time to post those awesome pictures.
Nice to see your still in the game SW. I'll have a Heffner 522cid TT SRT10 pretty quick ... wanna bust me another 9?
Good to hear from you Bill. Let me know when your car is ready, I would love to take it to the track... SW
I am just waiting for the transporter to take it back East. Do you know if ccw makes a drag set up that works on the SRT, without major modifications to the brakes? As a convertible this thing won't see the drag strip ... ever ... but I would like to get one run just to see what she can do.
