Hi guys I have the opportunity of purchasing a 360 cs, but I'm not too convinced of the leather interiors. I would have liked more alcantara to be honest. Anyway, while I don't consider that to be a deal breaker, is leather interior common in a cs ? would, one day, a conversion to alcantara be feasible ? Anyone has some pictures of leather interiors in a cs ? I haven't seen many. Thanks in advance.
i would not have chosen leather for the cs. if you track it, it will be slippery and hot. but if the rest of the car is ok, then so be it. i would also not change it later on - keep it as it was born. btw, cs prices in switzerland seem to be the best value anywhere.
I'm not going to track it, so that would not be an issue. Agree with you re prices. That's why I'm in for one I should have traded in my 328 but I'm sure I would regret, so she will stay!
Here are some links and photos of Stradales with leather interior. There are 3 types of CS interiors. Full leather, full alcantara and a combo of leather and alcantara. Mine has leather upper and lower dash and seats...I love it and think the car looks timeless and more classic with it. That said, I would have bought the "right" CS regardless of interior material...
Leather cost extra, so it has to be better, right? I much prefer the leather to the alcantara, which is polyester.
I couldn't get to 'grips' with the leather interior- had to be Alcantara as you just don't slide around, maybe harnesses stop you doing that but with the good old seat belt it was a deal breaker for me.
I had the leather seats and it wasnt any issue, if the rest is ok, buy it and enjoy this amazing car. I sold mine but I will definetly buy it back in the near future! btw. I know a rosso scuderia with alcantara. pm me if you are interessted.
I think the leather package(s) are so good looking in the CS. I am sure you wont even think about it once you start driving it!
My perfect 360 right now would be a Challenge Stradale with leather interior. Alcantara in blue or red can sometimes look faded and old TDF blue with tan leather is different but an amazing combination Also a big thing for me would be a lap sash seat belt as well as harness (I've seen em with both) I don't plan on track time and a harness on the street is a pain, can't reach the stereo, or glovebox, etc
Not a CS but I bought my scud because of the leather interior. DO NOT change a leather interior to alcantara it will hurt the value of the car IMHO If your against it just look for a alcantara CS. Image Unavailable, Please Login
to me the personality of the cs calls out for alcantara and the scud calls out for technical fabric. leather does not suit either
There is no right or wrong as far as leather or alcantara. Thats why leather is offered as an option.I say its nice to have the choice to be creative.Whether its a good or bad thing depends on opinions..You know how that saying goes..Opinions are like azz-h***s everyone has one,lol There are 599 GTOs out there with leather interiors, are you saying it does not suit the GTO?
thanks for your answers! that's some valueble feedback. see two pics. What do you guys think of this ? is it a common configuration ? the car is grey titan. will it give me problems to sell later on ? thanks! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have cream leather seats and a mixture of grey alcantra and black leather dash. I was first hesitant with that combo but seeing it in person really changed my mind. I have a harness and i have done a few track days and i do not slip or slide around the chair at all.
I have leather in my scud, red bolsters, black center, black dash, red a pillars and red rear bench. I like the colors and the contrasts. The tech fabrics look good and are very functional, buy the car that speaks to you.
Holy Crap, Are you kidding??? Thats fantastic!!! I would not sell it once I had a beauty like that....Buy it NOW,lol
that looks like the cs of another swiss fchatter who exchanged it for a scud. he had gold wheels on it when he posted it, but i think he had the originals with it. i like the color. subtle. sometimes mine is just too much.
