Can't tell you Gazz.....it's a secret,shshshshshshsh. While some folk on here will think I'm crucifying this bloke,I've made terrific mates (well I THOUGHT they're mates!) and have had 12 great years on here. You've seen the results of the occasions many of us have had mainly due to this site. It's a pity some folk don't 'give' of themselves enough to see how brilliant this place could be if they weren't secretive......perhaps he's the bloke with the purple Lambo mentioned somewhere else earlier???? .
I often find people complaining about Ferrari mechanic time estimates, on the assumption the quote was dishonest. The reality is you never know what you're going to find, damaged threads, seized fasteners, etc, etc. A good mechanic will do a valve timing check - the factory timing marks can be wrong, e.g. if a cam has been replaced. Also a good opportunity to check the lobes. That's why I thought 3-4 hours was OK. Apparently this wasn't what he wanted to hear, so I needn't have bothered.
I know nothing about changing the belts on a 360, but 3-4 hours to make sure the job is done properly means what? A few hundred bucks? Hardly a big deal in the scheme of things.

Yep, i had a guy whom would ring me only when he needed information re cars and values , in the end I pissed him off . So many users out there ..
And the thing is Rob is if you are transparent , there are people here that can give you so much good info and point you in the right direction…

Any of the Qld boys been in contact with Marc lately, I've been trying to get hold of him to service the 360 but can't get a reply. Just wondering if he's on leave or OS??
