Yeah, that was my thread. I tried to detail it as best I could. I almost gave up trying to get it stretched but finally figured it out. PM me if you have any questions.

    hi 97 spider,
I read your thread many times with great interest.
Would you then recommend top from the vendor Quality Top and Interior?

Well, I wouldn’t recommend German Auto Tops. I got zero response from then after I told them I had problems fitting their top.

    Thank you for your feedback.
I am then now considering the following two:

    Convertible Top Guys
    https://www.convertibletopguys.com/convertible/1057/1995-99-Ferrari-F355-Spider

    Tops ONLINE
    https://www.topsonline.com/model/Convertible_Tops_And_Accessories/Ferrari/1995_thru_1999_Ferrari_F355_Spider.html

I never liked the look of tan top boot cover. Does black tan top boot cover look better?
Maybe just the look of top boot cover does not resonate with me.

    Thanks,

What colours does your car have (paint & leather)?

    Hi Qavion,
Did you ultimately manage to fit the top from German Auto Tops or ended up having to source another?
Would really appreciate some colors how the story ends.
I am contemplating whether to replace the whole top or restore existing one.

    Thank you,

It's mostly fitted. I'm hoping time will loosen up the fabric so I can install the last screws. The fabric is sitting a few centimeters away from the fixing points at the base of the window. It's probably letting in exhaust fumes (but also engine noise :D)

Do you mean replace the metal structure underneath the canvas? Even if available, isn't the roof tens of thousands of dollars?

It makes sense to me to match the cover with the upholstery (tan), but I'd have to see the colours on the car to know if black is suitable.
