The yellow car is actually mine, I bought it without the rims. You'd need a big brake package for any of those rims to not look ridiculous. I guess i don't understand the point of it, performance and ride quality suffer and it just doesn't look that good. As if these cars don't scream 'look at me' loudly enough, there's no need to add those hot wheels cartoon rims.

I also think that it is a Ferrari! They already come with excellent Magnesium wheels from the factory that have the correct geometries & spacing for handling/suspension and performance. If you need to go bigger, +1" is the best option (also the size of the upgraded/performance/competizone wheels/tires available from Ferrari as an option). On a 348/355 Spider, the Modena 360 "Starfish" 18" wheels look great & fit without the need for spacers or wheel hub mods (52mm Lug bolts are needed/Ricambi for Hill Engineering quality). This wheel is extremely light and open face, lots of opening for looks/air flow & cooling brakes along with escape for the brake dust. My 1995 348 Spider is getting the factory OEM 17" wheels/tires installed tomorrow & for my option set I have purchased the 360 Modena wheels for track/autocross days.

The big wheels on a 355 or 348 just dont look right. They are much too big. They give a harder ride because there is very little side wall and turning while hitting a ramp or bump will cause contact with fenders. Your odometer readings will also be way off.

Every car I went +1 or 2 on rode and handled worse. The bigger tires/rims just did not feel as "quick". I am all about reducing unsprung mass on performance cars so bigger brakes and wheels are out of the question for me on the 355.

Big wheels on a F355 just make the brakes rotors look small.

Some of these oversized rims do add a certain modern "flair" but I am sticking to stock.

I like the black spider with the multi-spoke rims not the chrome.

    Big nono imo.
I like the originals the best.
I have seen one with 430 wheels, didn't look bad.
    But still prefer the originals.

Every time I see a car with wheels fitted like this I giggle. And I love the shrunken tire look as well. It gives the rim that extended curb finder look. Real sharp!

Your car you do what you want that makes you happy.

For me, the 1st ones look best, totally out there. Nice. I think the size is not the important part, but how they look with the car.

The others I am not a fan of.

I like the first ones also... I wouldn't put them on my car but I do like the way that one looks.

Is that bumper on that yellow 355 on right? the gap looks to small between the bumper and the panel. I own a 348, so I dont know what its like on the 355 but the 348 has more space between the two panels.

I really like the stock wheels, but found a picture of the exact wheels I want. If anyone knows where to get these exact wheels, please let me know! (This is a pic online, not of my car, I have a spider (but wish I didn't after seeing this pic!)).

I think those wheels are Iding from Japan. I have their factory brochure and I think they maybe not in business anymore, or least not make F355 parts.

That wheel does like quite nice. :)

The company's full name seems to be Iding Power. It looks like they're currently advertising their tuned F430 package (called the F460). When you search for parts on an individual basis, they show this page and image for the wheel:

No idea if that's the same version of the wheel on the 355 or only applicable to the most recent F430 package.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

AWESOME! Thanks for finding that. I've sent them an email. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll post their response about getting them in the US - assuming there is a response. It does state on that page if you do a translation that they will fit a 355!
