My cap looks fine, and when I unscrew I feel pressure. Seems fine? However, I keep seeing blue coolant residue on the visible threads. Wipe it off clean, and few days later, its back. If the cap was cracked there wouldn't be any pressure build up? Not loosing coolant and temps are good.

Are these plastic caps consumables? Perhaps there is something pressure related inside the cap. The hose looks good and I don't believe its leaking at that point.

I see 145030 is for modern Ferrari like Portofino and 329417 is for 355. Is this a supersession or upgrade?

Unfortunately, we discovered that Joel has run out of tank caps. I guess the usual stockists and usual prices apply. :(

If you are not loosing coolant it's not a problem.

Sorry to have missed out on Joel's caps; great deal.....

Anyone have any idea if the 145030 cap is better than the original number 329417. Same 1.0 bar,
and same threads, but 030 cap is $20 more?

There is a simple reason coolant can collect in the treads of the tank.
