Since at least two 348's are going to the 8tb design of the 355/348 Competizione, it makes sense to list the 355's fuel pressure regulator ($800 new from Ferrari, $250 used from GT Car Parts).

    5.2 Motronic fpr (Ferrari #167321)
    Bosch #0280160564 = $155 new from RockAuto: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1103982,parttype,6124

Haven't tried 'em. Probably wouldn't use 'em. Not bolt in replacements.

It's Volvo part number 3286641 or 3286641-0 (art. no. 10.6641), but it's for the Volvo 300 which I have no idea if that's a U.S. model or not (1980-1988).

    It's also Facet part # 7.5146.

I know that there's a Volvo dealership in your neighborhood, FBB. Should be easy enough to figure out.

The rheostat switch (in my Mondial T which I'm thinking is a stretched 348) that is located on the center console and controls the fan speed when using the heater or air-conditioning has only full off or full on. Turning it through its range provides no gradual increase in fan speed, it just goes from off to an abrupt on. I'd like to replace it so I have lower and medium air flows available but it doesn't seem to be readily available. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might find the equivalent switch?

That's one area where the Mondial T and 348 differ, as the 348's fan controls are digital instead of analog.

Thanks! I'll keep looking for this hen's tooth. I want to believe that it can be replaced with something reasonable available.

Anyone know the story with front wheel bearings? There were two types? One is readily available and one is on unobtainium status?

Well kids do I have a good one for you!

Our Nippondenso alternators are out of an Acura Legend.

Here is what I wrote in the 348 alternator rebuild thread.
Just make sure you get an IN220 regulator because, the IN226 regulator that comes in the the Acura alternator has a male plug with 4 posts, and the IN220 which is in ours has 3.

Here are the cars that have the IN220 regulator:

    1990-1991 Lexus ES250 2.5L
    1989-1990 Toyota Camry 2.5L
    1986-1989 Toyota Celica 2.0L

And one that is a bit more robust the IN220SE is found in a 1988-1990 Honda Prelude.

I wondered if this Hella 1LL 005 600-337 and -338 is only for the UK RHD cars ? I need these headlights for a LHD car.

Here are some places where I have googled them, do you guy's have other sources ?

    http://www.kauflux.de/hella-hauptsch...et_7357832.htm

    http://www.wir-lieben-preise.de/prod...lesuche24.html

Also if some of you guy's could get the " E " numbers that are written on the light that would help ! Because my source for aftermarket parts is not getting any further with this number : 1LL 005 600-337 and -338

    Looks expensive !!!

    Thanks

I recently took a look at the situation with the 2 fuel pump and 2 ECU relays that are used by both the 348 and Mondial T. Here are the results of my research:

The original Bosch part numbers are 0-332-014-139 for the Mondial and 0-332-014-140 for the 348. These relays are identical except that the Mon. one has a metal bracket.

Robert Bosch sold the relay business to Tyco Electronics in Pennsy. Tyco has that bus. subbed out to Chief Enterprises in Illinois (1-800-831-7294).

According to Chief Enterprises the 0-332-014-140 is superseded by a 0-332-019-151 which is a Tyco v23234c0001x006 / 2-1904011-2

For the Mondial the 0-332-014-139 is superseded by 0-332-019-150 which is a Tyco v23234c1001x005 / 5-1904012-1

I found these folks (http://www.keefeperformance.com/kprelay.html) online who stock both relays at $5.99 each and have a bunch more cool stuff! (Waytek has them also, but you have to call in your order.)

For the other relays on your fuse panel, I would get the Bosch part numbers from the owner's manual, call Chief for the Tyco number, and then search online for that number. That's how I found Keefe Performance.

Anybody have a good source for correct Oil Filters?
