There is a nice clean looking 22 thousand mile 1990 348 ts on BaT already bid to 67K !

 

All cars are up right now. I sold my gen1 raptor for a 25% profit a few weeks back and it wasn't for sale! The good cars have a chance to pull outrageous money out there that's what we have been seeing.

The one on BAT I hope gets more than the 2 previous high sales.

I contemplated selling mine is this market but it would be tough to do.

Based on the market I contemplated selling mine too. However there are cars, well sorted cars, then there is mine. It's just too good to drive currently. It just does not feel like an old car anymore. If it was in the same condition as when I bought it, I would probably sell it, but all the proactive work has turned the car back into like new operation. The goal was to be able to enjoy it. Well it worked, so now I will ruin my 13K car with a metric azz load of useless miles.

 

I'm with you, my car I think is a great driver, low miles and up to date on maintenance, not refreshed like yours but better than most. Modified but tasteful. I would need strong money as I'm sure you would to sell because in all likelihood I'm not going to get into another at a reasonable price.

If you want to sell do some refresh,

• Powder coat the door sills black satin.
  
• Powder coat the seat tilt levers black satin. Seen people spray paint them.
• Optionally Refresh door leather.(you'd be surprised how many cars have black show polish applied to hide issues, like almost all of them)

Almost bought that car or one just like it 2.5 years ago. Wheels were backwards too.

 

And yes I know about the wheels they were wrong when car came to us, corrected now !

A friend (former boss) just found a 30K mile example yellow/black Spider at $65K...

I told him "buy it" as the market i feel has rebounded from the bottom.
Also explained to a couple at a recent show, the 348 is now the "lowest entry' as a nice 328 or 355 will be a higher price...

For a nice example.

 

Bat 348 ts now @ 71 K ! Better move fast only 2 hrs to go................

WOW ! Bat sells 348ts for $ 78,501 !

 

Wow mine is 13k miles and 2 years spent doing rmechanical refurbish as new. Makes one think... So much for needing to be original though as the bat one had painted skirts and roof.

Mine has 14k miles and just completed a Major maint. That Bat price is 95 K in Canadian dollars! The market has changed.........

 

Your car will get 90k+ I'd bet on it. Things are nuts.

all cars went up in prices across the board. If you are thinking about selling within next year or 2, I would sell it now. This inflation in prices is temporary.

 

I think so as well, probably won't retreat to 2 years ago pricing unless we see something big in markets but who knows.

I like the color, its odd but I strangely really like it, but the color may hurt the sale? If so, someone gets a nice car at a discount rate. I like it a lot but not sure I would buy it. Very conflicted.
