    Ad says... 'Châssis : 330 GTXS 657'.

I'm making a calculated guess, saying that's a typo and they meant to write '330 GT * 5657'.

    Can anyone confirm?

Definitely agree with Wayne that this looks like a 330 GTC interior rather than a 330 GT. The gauges on a GT are in clusters, so I don't think you could make them look like this even if you fabricated a new dash.

Gee. That interior is an insult to a 330GT. I'm pretty sure that a 330GTC does not look
    like that either.

It actually does look a lot like a GTC dash, but very oddly there is only a single gauge between the tach and speedo. All the GTC's I've seen have 3 gauges there -- maybe they needed to narrow the dash pod?

The blinker stalk seems to be 250-style and the steering wheel is wrong (or maybe just missing the proper hub?). The gearshift is center-mounted and not gated, so it is probably a GT transmission rather than a GTC transaxle. The odd mix of parts, and the omission of a valid serial number, makes it seem like it was built from various parts rather than by converting an original car. Hopefully that means no real car was destroyed to make this. The engine and transmission seem to be from a 330 GT based upon the year (1965) and transmission style.

How about the wonderful wooden thing on the end of the gearshift lever.

I looked in a book. Your are right on all counts.

In particular, there are 3 gauges between the spedo and tach on a GTC.
A GTC has 6 gauges in all, this car has only 4 in all.

I may have been to harsh, but to me that dash appears out of proportion somehow.

Not harsh at all -- the dash looked "off" to me as well even though it bears similarity to a GTC. As I look closer, it's also missing binnacle all the way around the tachometer/speedometer section that the GTC has, so it seems likely that the dash was built from scratch taking layout cues from a GTC dash. If they built the dash panel from scratch, it's a bit of a mystery why they wouldn't have placed all the small gauges to the right of the speedo/tach to have at least the layout be closer to a a real California.

I lived with my old 330/365GTC for almost thirty years. This looks to me like a hacked up, rehashed GTC dash. There are indeed three gauges between tach and speedo on the GTC dash. Immediately below the dash and just above the central tunnel there should be three vent outlets and immediately below them the radio. The gear shift lever is all wrong as is the steering wheel and, oh, there's an ashtray and a lighter to the right of the gear shift. Otherwise this is a perfect GTC replica dash. :-(

How much did they want for this botched attempt at a replica?

Looks very "chunky" in this picture. Like it ate a tin of spinache and grew a bit
