    ???

    1. There were 599 examples built of the 599GTO. According to Ferrari. We all know that it is very unlikely that they didn't make more.
    2. There were 597 examples built of the 330GTC. I'm guessing less than 400 survive. That makes the GTC quite a bit rarer than the GTO.
    3. Depreciation on the 330GTC? I thought we were discussing the exact opposite. My GTC certainly has only appreciated since I bought it.
    4. Cars are not investments. I drive my 458. I know it is depreciating. You have to pay to play. Even a classic will not always go up and maintenance can wipe out the difference.
    5. I drive my GTC as well, quite seriously in fact. Mileage has no discernible effect on the value.

And of course, the 3 cars you mention have nothing to do with each other, other than the Ferrari name. For me, there is no logical way that you can contemplate a GTC and then go for a GTO. It's like thinking about a T-35 and buying a Veyron.

Quite interesting to compare a 330 with modern Ferraris, IMO a 599 GTB or a 355 seems to be good value, I really like the 355, sure there are some issues but the car is so nice to drive, one of the all time greatest. I think it's difficult / near impossible to compare this cars - the 355 is great value for the price and in every way better! A price over 700.000$ is also not the market value for the 330 GTC - think about the Testarossa or 328 sold at auction over 200.000$.

These were both cars with a bit more than delivery miles. True time capsule cars. I inspected the TR. It was truely amazing that it hadn'r been messed with. Both cars are going to collectors of things also unique.

I don't think the GTC market can be related to these cars.

Results just came up for Artcurial auction in Paris----on a 330 GTC.

Sold for around $555,000 US Money (418,000 Euros). I do not know condition, year, or serial number of that one--so, if someone has info & photos, I am sure we all would like to see them

Thanks. When I hear sky blue, I think of light baby blue color, but from what is visible it looks like a nice color. I'm more than a bit baffled by these auction descriptions. According to the description, this GTC has a new interior and the engine bay looks like new, but they don't include any useful photos of either the interior or the engine. Do remote bidders actually bid off of the sparse information provided, or is there more detailed information available to bidders?

From the pictures it looks like it would clean up pretty nicely. If it were me, I'd clean it up and drive it. This would allow you to enjoy the car and driving it will also help you figure out everything that needs to be done. It would be great if you could restore the leather rather than replace it (the leather looks restorable from what little can be seen in the picture).

out of curiosity I checked the vauation tool at Hagerty Insurance, while their insurance values did not match the recent lofty sale prices for the 330GTC, their long term trend has been up for many years while the most recent 6 month valuation was up approx 5%... i checked their 6 month value on a similar vintage Ferrari and they showed approx 7% increase for that model... annualized those are very strong gains in values for the older Ferrari...
