I recently added a new feature to the 330 GT Registry. It's a listing of the cars whose last record was For Sale or Auction within the last year. Since there is no later record (like Purchase), most of these cars are probably still on the market.

To take a look, click on:

or go to the registry (www.parrotbyte.com/330GTRegistry) and click on the For Sale link at the top of any page.

Since this is dynamically built out of the registry records, it'll be updated every few days and automatically kept current.

    Regards, Kerry

Last time I checked, 5591 was for sale in Melbourne, Australia. It certainly is an interesting looking car.

The 330 GT is on my wish list of cars I'd like to purchase. Do you know if there are many in Australia? I only know of a handful. Are they expensive cars to run and maintain?

As far as the cost of running and maintenance, once a 330 is properly done up mechanically, you should have many miles of pleasant uneventful driving. However, these cars usually suffer from deferred maintenance issues that fall on the new owner. That's why a pre-purchase inspection is well worth the cost so you know what you are getting into.

Last year, I drove mine over 2000 miles to the events in Monterey, CA. The only problem was a coil burned out and I have nobody to blame but myself. I didn't check the point gaps (last checked in 2000) before I started and further, the fiber oil wipers were dry. So the point rubbing blocks wore a lot, closing the points enough that the coil got too hot from being energized too long. On the way back, the car started back firing some, and eventually the RH bank stopped running when the coil failed. Luckily I was only 30 miles from a friend's house. I had my wife send two old coils that I had saved by overnight courier and I was on my way the next morning with the replacement coil duct taped on. All the details of the Monterey trip are on:
