I am in the process of rebuilding the front suspension on my 328, I have removed the steering rack as it needs replacing or refurbishing due to play, the rack was made by Cam Gears Italia spa, built in November 1979, the centre shaft is chrome plated, the details on the castings which are aluminium are ST67, LH21111,
15496 5K25D, can anyone give me any info about this rack or what car it was originally made for,
or recommend a firm that can rebuild it.

There are several threads about this in the 308/328 section

If you give a hint of your location East Coast West Coast etc someone may know of a good shop

Contact John Haller (JH355) here on FChat. He rebuilt mine and is the GURU of these racks.
According to John, Ferrari used 13 different PN's and 2 different manufacturers for these racks throughout the 3x8 lineup and they are all pretty much interchangable.
