    Hello everyone,

I have a 1985 308 QV GTS (US Car) and my questions are in red, blue and green and anything else that I didn't mentioned about the rebuild process would be much appreciated.

Hey Mike... Look carefully its not the CV bolts/nuts I was referring to.... Its the bearing seal plate I would like to know the torque value for .

    If it's an M8, it's 25Nm.
As for the axle stub ring nut, it's 220Nm.

You indicate that you have the 308QV/328 WSM -- see page M6. It also lists thread sizes so this can help identify things when trying to match up to the (usually not so clear) English translations:

14 - "Securing bearing holding flange to hub carrier" 8x1.25 = 2.1 Kg-m (15 lb-ft) -- this is a steel stud in a soft aluminum casting so the torque value is much less than for a M8 steel bolt with a steel nut.

    19 - "Securing axle shaft flange to wheel shaft" M27x1.25 = 22 Kg-m (159 lb-ft)

30 - "Securing rear shock absorber and levers to hub carrier 12x1.25 = 5.6 Kg-m(Cadmium-plated bolts) or 7 Kg-m (Bonderized bolts) -- (I don't follow this distinction exactly so that's your homework ;))

I use www.onlineconversion.com for converting the torque from Kilogram-meters to foot-pounds.
