    Its time for new tires on my dads 308. He is shopping for tires and thought it might look good if he got the tires with the raised lettering that is painted white. I am unsure of this and wanted your guys opinions. I am also wondering if anyone had any photos of the car with this type of tire on it. Thanks.

    Now that i've got a Ferrari i've thought of putting those on my 300zx but would never on the Ferrari.

    Would be funny to see a pic...just for kicks though.

    Thanks for everyones suggestions. I will let me dad know. I think its probably best to go with an all black tire.

    There was a 308 on ebay recently that had raised white letter tires.... to me it looked weird! But your mileage may vary! I agree it is all about the advertising with F1, NACSAR, IRL, CHAMP car ......

    I will do that once it gets back. I am going to take it out probably this weekend and do a photo shoot as well. My dad and I are going to get the neighbor involved as well. He has a new Shelby GT500 and we are going to include my dads A8L and call it the 1000 hp club.

    Its a black car and mine is red so I do think black tires are best.

    The raised white letter tires will go better with the car if you wear a big gold chain and leave your shirt unbuttoned. :D

    I believe the 308 suspension was calibrated with the driver wearing a gold chain, and a certain amount of chest hair calculated in the drag coefficient.

    I didn't thik it was the suspension, I thought it was the aero dynamice that was re-calibrated for wide collars, unbuttoned shirts and slicked back hair

    Put the white letters on the Shelby!
