    Hi guys,

I'm doing a 3.4 liter carb 308 and I need to go through the transaxle.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Hartford area to rebuild a 308 transaxle, when separated from the engine? I'm thinking bearings, seals, all synchros, ring nuts, maybe diff plates, going in.

I'm looking to buy 3 synchro rings, for gears 1-3, Ferrari part number 106040.

You may want to consider Dave Feinburg in Bedford NH. He deals with a lot of 308's.

HM Motor Works in Merrimack NH. Haleem is a pal of mine and an upstanding guy that works on many local Ferraris and Lamborghinis. I used to use David Feinburg for my 360 before he relocated. Once my 458 warranty expires I will be bringing it to HM Motor works.

    Thanks guys.

It looks like Miller Motor Cars (Greenwich, CT) is going to do the tear down, inspection, and likely the rebuild. They advised me they would pick up the transaxle from my engine builder, Marcovicci Wenz Engineering in Ronkonkoma, NY.

Years ago I had contact with David Feinburg, but I think it was in relation to a Lotus elan. Sorry David left the area.
