It's seem my 308 has all the modifications for the special order "Sprint pack".... Deep rumble louder sound at idle than normal 308, more power, 16" wheels, 2 slots vented front hood, 365BB rear spoiler ... Can anyone give me more information of what to look for to make sure it's really a Sprint pack 308... This is an article about it on link below... I have an original brochure that highlights an available option for the 308, I believe that it was called a performance package that included high performance cams, wheels and exhaust. There wasn't any mention about the vented hood or rear spoiler in the brochure.
I'm sorry, but rims are not from Ferrari, front hood has been modified (Turbo and QV have four slots, not just two like this one) and the rear wing was not available on carbed cars so it belongs to a later car. Mirrors have to be black and here in Europe we had just the left one, I don't know abroad. I think it would be better to get rid of all the mods, as the car looks good ciao
There was a 285 hp package available on Euro (possibly ROW, too, except US) 308s, coupes and spiders. Included the P6 cams, different jetting, a 4 tailpipe exhaust, and the 16" wheels and Pirelli tires. Never heard it called anything except 285 hp package. Not sure if it was factory or dealer installed.
I am glad a few heard about the speical order... I read the article from the link and thought to get more information from any one experience... Thank you guys...
I tried to look for evidence of my front being made by outside factory, but it really well put together proper. I think it would be much cheaper ti just by qv front hood to put in.
I reckon that's the setup my car has too. I know it has more hp than a euro 328GTB, so that makes sense. Aftermarket though....not the original Ferrari option.

I probably don't either, but I was always going to switch to a smaller wheel (GT4 wheel came with the car and was just wrong) and a faster rack, which I thought would be a bit of a challenge parking on grass, especially as the wife drives it occasionally, so I put it in presumptively. (Huge delay getting the fast rack, but on its way now). I do like it, though, and it was very good occupational therapy figuring out how to instal it.
As you know, I have the fast rack and a smaller wheel and it's incredibly good. If i got power steering because I become old and feeble like you, I'd get someone else to fit it.
Mine's smaller Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk Picture didn't transmit from my phone - I'll get Moretti on to it
