I am currently restoring my 308 GT4 interior and I need a new headlining made. My car has the factory sunroof fitted and I am having difficulty finding photos of the correct liner for my car. Does anybody have photos available?

I have a sunroof car but the headliner isn't installed. I removed it to chase down sunroof leaks when I got the car (2 of the 6 drain hoses were missing). The body shop that the PO hired to paint the car glued the headliner in with fist size wads of silicone! I was able to get mine out with minor damage around the edges and I intended to make a new one but never did. The original headliner and the sunroof panel headliner are packed away in storage, I'll try to dig them out in the next couple of days and take some photos.

It is like the non sunroof headliner material wise, fake pleats thermo formed into the material. IIRC the sunroof liner was smooth as was the actual headliner around the sunroof. While you have your interior apart make sure that your replace or at least clean all the drain lines. Extending them is even better as they just dump into places behind the fenders causing rust issues.

Here is an old thread with some photos of the sunroof's headliner, at least the inside of it. Do you have all the hardware/clips?

Hi, I have a European 308GT4 with a factory sunroof and what looks like the original headliner. I have renovated the rest of the interior but not dared engage with the headliner beyond a clean. Photos attached. PM me if you want more detailed shots. Will be interested to see what you can achieve.

Graham's headliner is the same as mine.

I laid my headliner out in the sun today trying to get it to lay flat so that I could supply some measurements. You will notice some white material glued to the underside, I did that in an effort to save the dimensional integrity for use later as a pattern. The pleats are about 1/4" thick in total, the padding runs from the rear of the headliner to the rear edge of the sunroof where it stops although the faux pleat seam and the backing continue and were wrapped around into the "garage" that the sunroof slides into.

It proved to be difficult to get an overall photo and still be able to read the measurements, I have several more photos if you need closer views of the rulers. I haven't yet located the headliner that hangs under the sunroof itself, it may be in my car which is in my son's garage.

Thanks very much for the replies they will be a great help. My headlining was a complete mess and these photos will help hopefully to recreate a more accurate replacement.
