Having gone through some older threads with limited success in narrowing down a choice of car cover, I thought I'd start a new one to get opinions on those of you who are currently using car covers.

I am looking for a cover for a covered garage that gets a reasonable amount of dust, no moisture and is climate controlled. It is for a 308 GTB.

Brand? Reason? How long have you had it?

Griot's has some nice options, too. I have used three of there's on our cars with no issues.

I use a CoverCraft Dustop that I got from AutoAnything. Pretty good fit but GREAT dust prevention and ding protection. I also have a garage with alot of dust and find this works really well. You can also get it from CalCarCovers but I find that if you call AutoAnything or use their online chat, they'll try to beat any price. Worth doing some web research. I did notice that CalCarCovers just released a pretty reasonable (I think $285) stretch nylon cover that looks pretty good. No idea how well it works for dust though.

I helping to restore a friends 1984 US 308 GTS QV. I wanted to give him an OEM cover as a present, but I am not sure there were any official Ferrari covers at that time.
Are there any official Ferrari 308 covers? Or are they all aftermarket?

I went for a cover from Auto Anything a few years back. Custom fit for the car. Great fit and good quality.

I picked one up at Costco years ago, cannot remember the Mfgr., but it fits as though it was custom made for my F car. Also got them for all my other garage queens, and have never had any issues with them. My 2 cents.

Can you get the CoverKing or another reputable brand with the word "Ferrari" or the rampante horse symbol on the exterior? Love the look of the oem but I assume they are no longer made.

No. Ferrari has not licensed their name/trademarks for use on aftermarket car covers.

When did they come up with the drive -in option? Mine has to be supported from the ceiling as the floor of the bubble is one piece and the clear part (the other 5 sides) hangs down and is a pain to get the car in.
