The 308 mirror adjustment switch is readily available from BMW parts vendors, both as new and used. The BMW part number is 61-31-1-363-459. It was used in the 1981 - 1988 BMW 5 Series. In BMW parlance, that vintage 5 Series model is referred to as the E28. As a baseline, Pelican Parts currently sells the new switch for $56 and I bought a used one yesterday from Double 02 Salvage for $20.
Sanden AC compressor for euro cars: Sanden 6332 (SD5H11). Exactly the same as the original, available from tractor supply stores.

Gates poly accessory belts: Always hard to find these, as Auto stores "don't show our numbers" Radwell International Inc. 800 332- 4336 Michael Edoff Ext. 1174 [email protected] Now the 308s have two different 'early' and' late' pully sets. But my alternator belt is a Gates #7M975 So, get your other belt sizes and give these guys a call!! It worked in 2014, any way.........
Just an update, since I couldn't find the info I needed searching this thread. My air pump went out, and I wanted to replace it. Searching All of F-Chat - I thought the A-1 Cardone 32207 was the correct air pump. It arrived Friday. While the body is similar, it would not work. The boss where the pump attaches to the arm coming off the head is large and unthreaded. The boss where the pump attaches to the bracket on the head of a 308 with the long bolt was threaded. I might have been able to rig something that would work if I felt like it. I don't. The next part I will try is the AC Delco 215-143. The pictures I've seen of this pump show it with at least threads in the correct areas. It will be here Thursday, and I'm hoping it will work.
The AC Delco part 215-143 is also not a bolt in replacement. Again - the bodies were cast from the same mold, but there are threads where there should be a smooth bore, and a smooth bore where there should be threads. You can attempt to mount it upside down, but the heat shield won't fit, and the air nozzle is in the wrong spot. I have found the OE pump on e-bay for a decent price. I'm using that.
Using the casting number I got a remanufactured pump from Autozone. The mounting bolts are reversed. I placed the long bolt on top which made it easier to instal and remove for future service. I used two bolts for the lower mount. Works like charm. The pump was about $100.00 no core. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app

On an earlier post someone combined two air filters to fit it on an injected 308. I found that STP filter part # SA101118 fits like a glove with minor shaving on the both ends (about 1/8) Autozone $13.00. Carb 308 Air Cleaner Knurled nuts - cheap My mechanic misplaced several of my little "bolts" or knurled head nuts (which is what I also call my youngest brother) so I went online and searched and found them at several sources...all at about $10 - $24 each depending on the source with shipping adding some interesting cost to the transaction. I also own a 1989 BMW 635CSi. I was looking at the knurled nut on the power steering reservoir and noticed that it had a similar nut. I pulled one of the stock nuts off the Ferrari and tested it on the BMW and it fit! (See attached pics, the nut on the BMW is upside down from the Ferrari application) The nut for the BMW is just slightly larger but much cheaper at $4-$5. Just paint them satin black and no one will know the difference unless they get out the micrometer. If you want them without shipping just go to a BMW dealer and order them. BAE209B1F (1982 308GTSI Coil) OEM Lenmark CP195 The OEM coil has the secondary output on top. The replacements I have seen only have secondary output on the side which are to wide for the OEM bracket on my year/model. The Lenmark CP195 is for a Fiat of the same year has the output on the top and looks like OEM. My OEM coil measures: Pri 0.7 ohms and Sec 3,940 ohms. The replacements have Pri 0.35 and Sec 6,900
L'Oréal #236 "Valentine" nail polish is a close match to Rosso Corsa. Nail polish is lacquer, so is good for temporary touch-ups since it is easily removed again without damaging the surrounding paint. ... please stop laughing.
