Can the Italia coupe run 305/35/20 tires in the rear? I figure just a little bigger than stock. Thanks,

    Yes.

    Why would you do that?

With my ADV.1s I am running 355/25/21 on the rear, 20s on the front - fit great and make the car look more solid/planted.

Attached is a picture from the side, I will post a picture from the rear - where I think the wideness of the tire looks great. This is the same tire size as what is on the Aventador.

A little wider if it doesn't impact any sensors. Any downside??

Only downside in my opinion is that you can only get Pirelli tyres in that size. I'd rather run MPSS in OE spec as I hate the Pirellis. In any case, if you choose to go the 305/35R20 route, you should not have any issues with the ABS sensors. You can always fit 245/35R20 fronts with the larger rears, then it's not a problem for sure.

There is of course an alternative if you really want more rubber on the road. You could fit the F12 spec MPSS tyres. That's 255/35R20 K2 front and 315/35R20 K2 rear. Despite the size, they will not mess with the ABS sensors, as the front to rear diameter difference is the same as on the 458. They will look different however, as they are somewhat larger.

with the 355 or 305 for that matter, no downside re: sensors, abs, etc. Tampa Bay Ferrari did the install and all is "certified".

Yes of course. As United pointed out we can run all the way up to a 355 Pirelli in the rear without affecting the suspension and/or sensors in any way.

I've got a ton of photos of client cars with this setup if you are interested in seeing them. Are you able to accept Private Messages?

I believe I can accept private messages but I have concluded to stick with stock size tires.

    I keep getting:

"Goonthree has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages."

Perhaps it's that you are still a fairly new user and FerrariChat requires a higher post count before you can send and receive PM's.

What was the leading factor to sticking with the OEM sizes?

I just checked and it says enable receive private message. So no idea. Stock size equal least amount of headaches. Already have 3 sets of rims in garage for other cars so will stick with stock wheels.

Oh nice! We run a trade in program for premium OEM wheels as well as premium aftermarket wheels that a lot of the forum members here have taken advantage of.

We've used both the 335 and 355 setups on the 458 for years now and there is zero negative affect on the car. Even IndyCar Champ Tony Kanaan got in on the action with us for the more aggressive 335 setup.
