I was in Pittsburgh today at this Porsche dealership looking at a bunch of Ferraris (one of which was a 288 GTO, I'll post some pictures later wheni get home since the computer I am currently on is a 56K and I don't wanna deal with it) And the dealer started telling me about the Owners Personal collection that was primarily composed of old LeMans cars and was up on the top floor, he said among the collection was 3 427 cobras taht had run in LeMans, a couple (yes a ouple according to him) Porsche GT1s, and then he started telling about this one Ferrari in particular that was a GT or something that only had 3 of them prduced and 1 of them had wrecked leaving only 2 int he world(his words not mine) Well from that discreption it sounds like a F50 GT to me!!!!!!! Anyone have an information about this collection, or what the mystery Ferrari the man couldn't think of was? I wasnt able to go int ehre because he said that it was currently closed off because there was going to be a party there on Monday and they had done some extensive cleaning and didnt want anything messed up. I plan on caling them to see if I should make a appointment to see what is up there next time I come here to visit my sister.

Also on a side note I was at this other place looking at Ferraris and the man said there was more upstairs taht I could go look at and when I got up there there was a 355 Challange that according to him had won the series in 95 I believe he said, can't rember if that was correct, I got to sit in it and everything. Awesome. There was also 3 Dinos there.

Hmm...it looks like the ''mystery'' Ferrari is the F50 GT? Is this Art Zafiropoulo's F50 GT? If so that means the car has been fixed up.

From the way he was telling it it sounded like it wasn't the wrecked one. Are there 2 in the US or just the one?

Just one. Before they was 2 F50 GT owners in the States , Art Z. and Jim Spiro but Jim's F50 GT then went to Australia and now its for sale at Oakfields.com. (Jim S had #003)
001: Belongs to Art Z (The car lives in California but I guess its sitting in Italy right now being fixed)

002: Belongs to a Japanese owner.

    003: For sale at Oakfields.com.

The car is still in Cali as the owner had spare body panels, all he needed was the radiator.

That is indeed the Auto Palace, owned by David Scaife, son of Richard Mellon Scaife.
