So while waiting on some parts to deal with a fueling problem, I thought it a good time to do a compression test. My car has 68,314Km on it. For the benefit of other future 3.2 owners, here is the results for my car. All plugs out, 6 cranks for each cylinder test, throttle open, dry test, and engine cold.

    Front bank
    1 172psi
    2 170
    3 168
    4 173

    Rear bank
    1 175psi
    2 173
    3 171
    4 172

I am pretty sure these are good readings, actually a bit higher than I expected on a cold engine (Maybe some carbon buildup in there?) and the variability between cylinders is well within the 10% that generally is suggested as acceptable. I did the test a couple of times, and the readings were within a couple of psi.

I did not do a wet test, or a leakdown, as with these pressures that would seem unecessary.
