Right? of course they're sold out. It manual was a regular option on a production car it'd be ticked less than 10% of the time.
Or how about just a regular 458 for less than 30% of price. That's a no brainer. I've had both. Not a huge difference.
Agreed! Ferrari know what they are doing. They wouldn't offer a manual in their hypercar, as that would slow it down. Same with normal production Ferraris. There are a few romantic clients who want to experience something different though. Such a car won't have to do drag/track battles with Lamborghinis, Astons and McLarens, so a manual is not a problem. Different Ferraris for different Ferraristis, as the company maintains.
What a stupid comment. Your mindset is a perfect reflection of the kind of people Ferrari attracts these days.
Have a Vette & Camaro - Chevy fan. Just a joke. but I do need a leather jacket jean shorts & New Balance shoes I don't go on Vette forums and events and tell them my Ferrari is better! VS may be better than Speciale - like the 765LT received Senna technology the VS may do the same from F80. Zero went into the Speciale from the Halo - in fact Ferrari was sued for stealing the fans and downforce.
Let's say you are spot on - why are you here. Drive a few brands - people like you hate the same guy in a Ferrari vs the same guy in a 1969 Z28 It's ok - I opened the door you fell down the stairs.
I'm obviously curious about the upcoming 296 Mugello and for what it is. I don't hate anyone, but I do carry a small grudge towards Ferraris current leaders, as they are in my eyes massacring my favorite car brand, hehe. With that in mind, I can't stop myself from commenting when I see people claiming the new 296 Mugello will become the next big investment object, comparing it to cars from a different era with a totally different setup and ethos. I think the 296 Mugello will be awesome, but will it be limited enough, and good enough, for people wanting to pay a super premium to get one? I have my doubt. Anyways, I agree that this discussion must end. We should discuss the car instead. Speculation about its future can be discussed by smarter people on a brighter day
Mugello was the name I picked for the 812C before it came out. Sounds pretty good for the 296 VS version though
I got to see the 296 VS today.. It's cool, but im a little underwhelmed.. I hoped for something like this (a Ferrari version of the 992 GT3 RS)... Image Unavailable, Please Login
