I was wondering if anybody had done this. I think the 288 is the best looking of the 308 family - I don't think one needs the twin turbo performance of the 288 but the LOOK would be nice.

I think Martin has one for sale - go to www.4ferrari.com and go to the bottom of the inventory list...

I think that there is someone here on the coast doing those conversions - maybe Ventura area - or you can buy the panels and do it yourself. I know I have seen them somewhere on the web.

This comes up quite often so a search should turn up several threads. But to get the right look, you need to stretch the car so it's expensive. There are rebodies that fit the standard wheelbase, but I don't think they look quite right. I added a GTO feel to my 308 with the front valance and bumper and am happy with the result.

Some extra hp is also quite nice. Mine is supercharged to about 520 hp and is almost too fast, 1st gear is about useless. I had a smaller supercharger on it before and was getting about 370 which was very good.

I have the 288 GTO conversion parts. Good memory... I am in Ventura California. Give me a call for some prices, & I'll try to answer any questions that you might have.
Right now we have a kit ready to sell, we like to leave the parts sit inside the molds for as long as possible before taking them out & right now I think this latest set of GTO parts have been in the molds for about 60 days curing. Not that they need to sit there THAT long ;o)
    Give me a call.

PS: I haven't advertized the 288 conversion parts for sale for a good 3-4 months... been SO busy!

Hi Nick, I know that it is an old post, but do you still make the GTO panels? If so are they for the correct wheelbase?
    Regards Doug
