Hello does anyone have any history, ownership details,,colours body and interior etc on ferrari 250 GTE chassis #3881 Thanks for your help
Originally a lovely Grigio Fumo 250 GTE 2+2 with Pelle Marrone VM 3104 Connolly and delivered to Auto Becker, Germany. Factory completed 16 October 1962. Unfortunately REBUILT INTO SOME "DROGO" REPLICA by Terry Hoyle in England in the 1980s (NOT by Drogo). February 1994 sold thru Talacrest UK. Later in Luxemburg (1999). Marcel Massini
And yet some people have told me that Gullwing said this was chassis 3881 https://www.gullwingmotorcars.com/1963-ferrari-250-gte-c-3293.htm?searchtype=bymm&make=FERRARI&model=ALL&bodytype=ALL&
Hi, Well at least the interior photos would support that this car originally was Grigio Fumo with an interior in Connolly VM.3104. (the center console / tunnel trim and the rear quarter side trim, not the much lighter beige seats) Cheers!
The chassis frame in that fake Drogo does not look like a GTE-frame at all. So many fakes are using numbers picked out of thin air that following the cars by such numbers does not make much sense. Seriel number tag is a fake too.
