Has anyone seen the silver 1974 246gts that Fantasy Junction/Sheenan has currently for sale for $114,500? Curious about condition as described.

I saw the car last Friday. I would call it a #3 driver. Paint is fair, top glossy, chrome needs to be done, Side marker lights are black rimmed, wrong mirror, tires old... Figure $15,000 to clean it up and use it.

Is that all just for cosmetic clean up? Sounds like a driver the way it is; what's the $15k for?

Is that where the market is now?

    $115K for a #3 car?

Geez, and I passed on a car that "only" needed $40K worth of work at the stellar sale price of $80K, bout the only thing it had going for it was good paint.

What the heck was I thinking?

Keeps other buyers from getting interested in it.

From the recent RM auction, prices generally don't seem to be following last year's skyrocketing trajectory, except for the Dino.

that car was a gt coupe, not a gts. i think matt sold his car way too cheap, but he was tired of messing with it. maybe another month or so of messing with it would have been a good idea.
